Why the FOV setting matters
Within a day of launch, players reported motion sickness from the narrow default view and asked for an FOV slider. Hotfix 1.0.2 added it. If the camera made you queasy on launch day, update and raise the FOV.
Hidden inputs worth knowing
- Read a manga’s genre: hold the book, then hold the middle mouse button and move the mouse to turn it around. The genre tag is on the back. Players looked for a tooltip or a key bind and couldn’t find one.
- Open your collection: Tab opens the album where your opened cards, keychains and pins go.
- Tool wheel: since 1.0.2 it opens when you hold its button instead of tapping it.
- Close the shop to catch up: flip the Open sign to Closed during the day, finish restocking and cleaning, then flip it back.
- Jump is bound, though a shop sim rarely needs it.
A viewer on a demo video noticed that at the register you can hold the mouse button and sweep across the items instead of clicking each one.
Playing with a controller
There is no native controller support. On the Steam forums one player pointed out that Steam’s built-in controller configuration can map any keyboard or mouse action to a pad, and used it to play on a Steam Deck. Others found that setup too fiddly for a game this menu-heavy. If you only play with a pad, treat this as a keyboard-and-mouse game for now. The platforms page tracks any change.
Language options
The interface is available in 15 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese and Vietnamese. One player noted the Steam achievement names still show in English whatever your Steam language is.
Where your settings are saved (settingsSave.es3) is on the save file page.
