The store page describes the core stock as “manga, figures, and collectible cards”. Keychains, pins and dakimakura come from the achievement list and the DLC pages. You also sell to couriers, a special kind of customer; serving five earns “Courier-kun, Welcome!”.
Licenses: how stock unlocks
You can’t sell something until you own its license. Licenses are bought on the shop computer, and new ones become available as your shop level goes up.
- Licenses are numbered. The Supporter Pack’s page puts its manga in Licences 2, 5 and 9 and its dakimakura in Licence 7.
- In the February-March demo, licenses carried brand names (Otaku Forge, Big Eyes, Panda Books, Giga Senpai and Juicy Mango Works), and one video counted five in total. The launch build has more, so treat the demo list as history, not a checklist.
- A demo stream bought a booster-box license for about $700 at shop level 4.

Manga, genres and the 18+ shelf
The developers’ July 23 post says every volume now has its own title, cover and genre, and that customers became “more selective” as a result. When a customer asks for a genre:
- Hold the manga, then hold the middle mouse button and move the mouse to turn it over. The genre tag is on the back.
The July 30 post added an 18+ category. At the register you check IDs, and selling age-restricted stock to anyone under 18 is prohibited. Some customers hide an 18+ book under their clothes; the scanner catches them. See thieves, vandals and trash.
Manga titles are parodies. The official screenshots show posters and covers such as “Sawman” and “Go-On!”. Two things players have raised: there seems to be one volume per series, and one found manga prices unrealistic.
Prices move
Some product prices change from day to day, though not every one, as a player asked for a price-change overview the game doesn’t yet have. The pricing screen always shows the current market price. How to price against it is in how to make money.
Decor and the clothing shop
- Decor: wallpaper, posters and decoration items, plus a shop name you choose. Hotfix 1.0.2 put a free apology poster in the Decor section, and the Naughty Shelf Pack adds a “Kota” poster. One reported bug swaps the Princess Hunter poster for the Karaoke x Love poster; re-box it and hang it again.
- Clothing shop: this is for your own character’s look, not stock. A single-player asked what it’s for, since you never see yourself; it matters more in co-op, where friends see you.
