What each patch fixed

September 11, day-one update

  • Removed a survey that popped up when you quit.
  • Lowered rain and thunder volume and fixed several sound issues.
  • Wet stains no longer appear before you unlock the mop.

Hotfix 1.0.2, September 12

  • Fixed a freeze when two players picked up the same box at the same time.
  • Rebalanced based on feedback, with less trash and fewer vandals and thieves.
  • Added an FOV setting.
  • The tool wheel now opens when you hold its button.
  • Updated the look of upgraded boosters in the Secret Shop.
  • Fixed quests so puddles don’t appear before you have the mop.
  • Added a free apology poster, found in the Decor section.

Hotfix 1.0.3, September 13

  • Fixed the freeze when two players pick up the same object.
  • Fixed items and shelves that could stop responding.
  • Fixed items or tools getting stuck in your hands.
  • Fixed Steam achievements, which should now all unlock.

In the 1.0.2 notes the developers apologised for “the less-than-smooth launch”, and the 1.0.3 notes say the next patch is already in the works.

Other launch-week reports (not yet confirmed)

These come from one or two players each on the Steam forums. They are worth knowing, but we have not seen them widely reproduced:

  • A crash on opening the store on a specific day (day 13 in co-op, day 32 in single player), both tied to employees by the people reporting.
  • A crash after adding a card display case to a friends-only co-op game.
  • Boxes flying off or vanishing from the delivery zone when a friend joins.
  • A freeze on the opening “you’ve been isekai’d” welcome screen on one laptop.
  • The Princess Hunter poster turning into the Karaoke x Love poster; re-boxing and re-hanging it fixes that.
  • The Discord invite button in the main menu opening in a browser but not accepting.
  • Dropped items you can’t put down anywhere once picked up, leaving the bin as the only option.

Before you report a bug

The developers read the Steam forums and point players to their Discord for bug reports; the invite is on the links page. Back up your save before every update, because players have reported saves breaking after patches.
